Fake news

"Omg the brand new ps5 is here" just joking you what I did I phished you and today for cybersmart I learned about fake news and how. to tell if it is fake or real so number 1 look for the icon that is a lock on the top right of your screen you know where the url is. Number 2 if you get a email you will always get the lock becuase the mail site that you are using it is safe. so read the context more then one Number 3 make sure that the https is splet right and. if it is not splet right it might be fake news. Number 4 the most inportment rule don't think that every thing that you see online is real it might be fake.

Harry potters math

Today in math strand we did some harry poter math becasue the teacher daughter b day and she really likes harry potter so the teacher. told us that we are going to do some harry potter math and the first question was blah blah you get it was about time and we did a whole bunch of question about. time so get the point it was kind of boring but it was also easy.

Crack the code

Today in math we had to crack a code so first I had to write down all the numbers that it told which were 682, 645, 206, 738, 780 all the number had some writing next to them the fourth nmber said that noth is correct so 7 and 3 and 8 are out the left me with 6, 2, 4, 5, 0 then after we found out that 6 was out then there was 2, 0, 4, 5 then I found out there was no 5 so the number was 402.

Today in maths we learned about factors and we had to do an avtivity about factor so the fisrt was to write down the number 1 to 20 and all of there fators that kind of hard. next we had to answer questions about the factors from the pattrens. then the next question was to firgure out more questions about the factors.

Kennings

So today we learned a bout keenings and a keenings when you telling some one somethings but with hints. And in order to use keenings you have to desricbe for ex.(Pig) a mud lover and a stink lover and make. sure when you are using keenings that you end the word that is desricbing the animal or something with a er. so after we got told about keenings we got to do our own keenings mine was about donald trump (hehehe). why becasue I thought it was funny at the teacher loved my drawing of doanld trump. she thought is was amazing.

london trains

today in starnd math we had to do an activity that involed trains first we had to write down the the names of the staions and what time the trains will be leaving. first staion was leatherhead which was leaving at 07:10 and the train at eposm was leaving 07:15 then the wimbledon staion their train was leavig at 07:30 (this is such a werid name for a train staion) Clapham jucntion their train was leaving 07:40 finally the train at the waterloo staion was leaving at 07:50 the question are.

How long does it take to get from Leatherhead to Epsom = 5 minutes

How long does it take to get from Wimbledon to Waterloo = 20  minutes

How long does it take to get from Epsom to Waterloo = 35 minutes

Surfing fun

On Friday we went surfing for the final school trip of the year (Sad sad sad) first we met the crew their names were mini Oscar john after we got to meet the crew we got split into your homerooms. and we got put into to groups which were seal and dolphins I got put in the seals group we got to do surfing first which means we did boogie boarding second broski we I was surfing there was the huge wave that I rode and I got a thing could a mega shucker (A shucker is a surfer way of saying chur) after I got my mega shucker we had to go back. to shore and let the next group have their turn at surfing or booige boarding after we had returned back to shore we had morning tea after we had morning tea we alked down to the beach and made sand castle then we got called that it was our turn to go boogie boarding. boogie boarding was amazing after that we had to go back to school for the end of the day.

Kei Hea A Tyler

Today in Te reo Maori we learned how to say where is the, where is (someone name)

First we learned how to say the words which were Kei hea te which means where is the and kei hea a which means where is (someone name) and the final one is kei hea nga which means where is (more then one) then we had to do a work sheet which was random sentences and we had to put a,te,nga.

then once we finished that we have to blog which we are here now.

What I found hard was to found out what the words in Te Reo Maori mean.

What I found easy was to put nga and a and te in the right places.

Zones of regulation

So yesterday we did an activity about zones of regulation an the activity was that I had to write about what people would feel around me if I was in the zone and what would they think and say and the zones are green, yellow, blue, red if you are in the green. zone you would be focused or happy if you are in the blue zone you will be felling sad or bored or sick or tried if you are in the yellow zone you will be feeling worried or frustrated and if you are in the red zone you will be feeling angry or out of control.

Tuesday Math

Today in math we had to see Miss Willy she told us that we were going to to some easy math. So the first problem was 48 divided by 6 = 8 so how I got the answer was that she told us to make it easier. by doing 60 divided 6 = 10 the some how I ended up getting 8 then the second problem was 44 divided by 4 =. then how I got the answer for this question was I skip counted in 4 until I got to 44 then the answer was 11.

Number plates

This in math we had to make number plates with our initials and a bond that makes 10 and to other number. So my number plate was TR6479 which equals 26 and my other number plate was TR5597 which also equals 26 so my strategy was to confuse the guesser so it was hard for them.

The picture I am going to show you is not my number plate it is my teacher because I lost mine.

Nest Eggs

Today in math strand we learned about graphs and we got given an activity called nest eggs the activity was about a framer. Who hens layed a certain amount of eggs then we had to draw a graph to show how many eggs did the hens lay. After we drew the graph we had to find out what day did the hens lay the most amount of eggs. Then it said in the summer the hens layed twice of many eggs as in the winter so all we had to do was just double. Then for the final question we had to find to answer to both graphs.

Canva Weekly warp week 7

Today we made a weekly warp on canva and if you have seen canva you should that you can make poster and really just any thing but the teacher told us to make a poster about what we did this week.

Canva is really COOL and I think that you like making poster you should like canva. what is found hard was that if you are going to work with a buddy the sharing system is not that good because my friend and I wanted to work together so we shared it to each other but it did not come through. what I found easy was to make the poster because me and my friend worked nicely together.

Mission to mars

For inquiry we had to make a Presentation for a mission so first we had to make group of 5 then we all had to pick a topic that we wanted to learn about and show to the class. so I made a mine about entertainment and food so for entertainment I made a device that is the size of a phone and you can watch shows,movies and you can also play video games and board games and it will never run out of battery.

For food I made a green house that has a force field that is so strong that the sun can not break it then I made this soil that grow you food in seconds then the light is as strong as the sun. then was enter the green there is a suit that you must wear because the soil is made very dangerous stuff could make your legs not work.

For this term in cybersmart we were challenged to find different learning tools and we found this one learning tool called canva and canva is a site where you can design poster and bookmarks and different art styles of you choice. So the teacher told us to make a poster called weekly wrap which is a poster that we make and we explain what we did during the week and during that week we had loads of fun.

Yesterday the teacher gave us a brain teaser which was a Sudoku and this Sudoku was easy.

First we had to draw the sudoku then we had to write the numbers in finally I got to do the sudoku.

What i found hard was to draw the sudoku because I keep messing it up.

What i found easy was to do the sudoku.

this term for inquiry we were learning about space then we got the option to choose which inquiry group we wanted to be in after we chose our groups my teacher told us that we had to make a diorama then she told us to choose which kind of diorama we wanted. So I wanted to make a diorama about a rocket launching into space so first I chose the shoe box I wanted then I got to making the rocket so I made the rocket out of a cereal box. After that I got to making the background finally I got to making the label.

Today we had to to our math starter of the day so the math starter of the day was called middle of centers. So what I had to do was I had to find the blue point and see what two red points the blue point was on the middle of and the answers are. 3.4 and 1.0.

for the past week in inquiry me and my buddies we had to make a parachute first we had to design it first and it was not easy next we got are materials and what we got was string and napkins,a bread bag then we started to make then so we used to napkins as a bed for the Lego man named jack next we used the string to connect the bread bag to the napkins and we used the bread bag as the glider finally we saw the teacher test are parachute and we nailed on the first try.

today in math I had to do a brain teaser and the brain teaser was about that had to use addition and subtraction,times tables,division first I had to use the numbers 3,4,5,6 and make the biggest. number possible and next the thing was to I make the lowest number possible so for the biggest number possible I did 6 X 6 = 36 and for the lowest number possible I did 2 - 2 = 0.

What I found easy was to make the lowest number possible.

Making Rafts

Today me and my buddy had to make a raft that could hold 40 grams first we designed the raft in our project books and we come up with that the raft had 18 straws in the middle and a straw on the outside. then we had show the teacher our design then she gave a the the straws and tape next we our raft and then we had to put the raft on water and for a second I thought i was going to sink but it didn't.

Coke a Cola

Today for math I had a brain teaser about a video called coke a cola and I had to guess how much coke was in a pool my answer was 500 liters how i came up with that number I saw that he was using 1.25 liters bottle and the I thought he used 400 bottles of coke so then I timed 1.25 x 400 = 500.

Pigeon impossible


Today I watched a short film about a pigeon who wanted to steal agent Walter bagel so what happened was that Walter had to complete a mission that his bosses assigned him the mission din't not go. so well the bagel pressed that launched the rocket so Walter had to shoot a missile at the rocket. Next we had a choice of 4 activity there was a wanted poster or a new paper article or the next mission for Walter or a comic strip about the film. I chose the wanted poster first I had to create the pigeon next I had to make a description on he did wrong finally I had to add the reward. I what I found hard was to make

The Shifty Shark

The Shift Shark Written By Susan Griffiths and Illustrated by Rae Dale we are learning to look more deeply into the main character and my opinion on this book is a yes because. this tells you not to be foolish of other and is all way something bigger than you the main character of this book a a shark named Archie and he is a show off. my activity sheets helped me a lot throughout the story. my favorite part of the story is when Archie says "No one messes with Archie" I recommend this book for kids up to 8-10 years old and I rate this book a 4/5.

A Battle of Words

A Battle of Words is by Heather Christie My reading class is learning about get info on the main character of the story. My thoughts on this a Yes because the book teachers friendship and to be kind to others. the main character is name is P.S McGinnity and my activity sheets are a lot of help because told what to do. my favorite part of the story is when P.S McGinnity tries to wash C.V Molesworth widows and instead of washing them waters C.V Molesworth when she sleeping. I do recommend this if you are into two people battling it out with words. I rate this a 4/5. 




 

Math strand

Today I had to draw a house and robot and are teacher gave the measurement for the house first next we had to get you´re ruler. and rule the lines for the house then we had to write the measurements next to the lines last thing we had to colour it in and get a buddy to check it and same with the robot.

First we had get into semi circle and then we had to grab the right-sized hockey stick and then peter told. us how to measure the hockey first you had to find a hockey next you put it against your tummy and it had. to be where your belly button is next peter told us how to dribble the ball he said "imagine that the ball was glued to your hockey stick next he told us. to have a little turn at dribbling next we played rob the nest. and how to play rob the nest there is 4 teams and there and lots. of balls in the center and each team must grab a ball and get back to there team and when all of the ball gone. you and your team can start robing the other teams nest.
