Pigeon impossible

Today I watched a short film about a pigeon who wanted to steal agent Walter bagel so what happened was that Walter had to complete a mission that his bosses assigned him the mission din't not go. so well the bagel pressed that launched the rocket so Walter had to shoot a missile at the rocket. Next we had a choice of 4 activity there was a wanted poster or a new paper article or the next mission for Walter or a comic strip about the film. I chose the wanted poster first I had to create the pigeon next I had to make a description on he did wrong finally I had to add the reward. I what I found hard was to make

the pigeon. I what found easy was to write a description on what he did wrong.

Understanding Song Lyrics

In literacy we have been learning about song lyrics We listened to two songs. They were treasure by Bruno mars and man in the mirror by Michael Jackson. We discussed and brainstormed the song title meanings. We then looked at the lyrics and what they meant. Treasure by Bruno mars is about him telling a girl how pretty she is. Man in the mirror by Micheal Jackson is about him wanting to change the world but first he has to change himself first.

In reading we are learning to be good readers. To be a good reader you ask questions before,during  and after you read something. we learning to ask different types of questions. they are Think & Search
Author & me Right there question. this week we looked at a photo we had to write questions about the photo. 

 

A Recipe for winter

first we brainstormed winter related words. then we talked about words use to measure when cooking. we then wrote ingredients for winter using our group brainstorms.  

Winter poem

On a cold day I will game on my laptop because it if fun and the game is called prodigy.

I like winter because then I don’t have to play outside with my brother. And I get to have yummy hot pies and hot chocolate with oreo.

Outside it is frosty and snowy and cold.

Once hits the car more and more come crashing down.

Hail is just hard rain but it sounds like stones hitting the ground.
