for the past week in inquiry me and my buddies we had to make a parachute first we had to design it first and it was not easy next we got are materials and what we got was string and napkins,a bread bag then we started to make then so we used to napkins as a bed for the Lego man named jack next we used the string to connect the bread bag to the napkins and we used the bread bag as the glider finally we saw the teacher test are parachute and we nailed on the first try.


 

The day I lost best friend

Today in reading I could do some free writing and I wanted to write about a dream that I had last night and first to remember what happened in the dream and I remembered that I lost my best friend in the forest when we weer looking for slender man.

For this week in reading we watched called broken and it was about rock paper and scissors and the tracker told us that after we watched video that we had write. a perspective of one of the characters and I chose scissors because every one chose rock or paper and I will leave the link to the video if you want to watch it.

today in math I had to do a brain teaser and the brain teaser was about that had to use addition and subtraction,times tables,division first I had to use the numbers 3,4,5,6 and make the biggest. number possible and next the thing was to I make the lowest number possible so for the biggest number possible I did 6 X 6 = 36 and for the lowest number possible I did 2 - 2 = 0.

What I found easy was to make the lowest number possible.
And I didn't find any thing hard.     

Math strand

For the past week my class have been learning about directions my teacher gave us a activity I was a grid and we had to make a track and write the directions. to get from point a to point b and it was not easy first I made my track and next I wrote the directions to get to the end and then we had a buddy that had to listen us tell them the route to the end.

     

Legs

Today in math I had a brain teaser bout these aliens and there legs and there were to different aliens on the planet both aliens had to different amount of legs then we had to do a problem and it was not easy but in the end it was kind of easy.

This week I have been working on a piece of writing called repetition writing repetition writing is when you say something you repeat the thing you say like if you say the dog went out you would say that again but add something on to it and I wrote story about what Stan does for a living and and I hope you like reading this wring.

Weekly warm up

today the teacher gave us a challenge which was a Sudoku first she said to choose which you wanted to do the options were shape one or a number one I chose the number Sudoku first and it was easy next I chose the shape Sudoku and that was easy to then we had a problem to solve the problem was about if your foot were a different size from the other foot the were got into groups and then we had to measure each person foot and see if someone had a different size from the other foot and there were to people that had a foot that was a different size from the other foot. 

The Door

For the pass week me and my friend kristian had to write a story and it was not easy first we had to plan it out and we had no ideas but when we went on pobble 365. it gave us and idea it was a door in the woods so we wrote a story and a door in the woods.

Patterns of squares

today in math it was problem solving day and we had to find how many toothpicks you need to make nine squares so first I made a pattern with nine squares and then i counted how much tooth picks where were and the number was 31.
